The Potato Point Bridge is situated on a road that serves as the sole access for two-wheel drive vehicles to a popular beach and holiday park.

The Eurobodalla Shire Council has replaced the aging timber bridge with InQuik systems, utilising a 316-stainless steel formwork to provide resilience against the harsh saltwater environment. This innovative approach was chosen to significantly extend the lifespan of the asset.

Contractors executed the demolition of the old bridge and implemented a temporary structure to maintain access to the holiday park. The project was successfully opened to traffic in late 2022.

The use of 316 Stainless Steel as a corrosion-resistant formwork cladding material is perfect for challenging environments, ensuring both durability and aesthetics.
